A food review, a fanatic girl and..A NEW HAIRDO!!

Hullo.

With my new camera, I've been going on a rampant take-everything-I-see campaign. I figured that everyone must be bored to death by now since I only post pictures of myself (and I do admit i'm not really extremely pretty so it gets kinda boring).

So! I've decided to do a food review! Wah first time right. I love food. I absolutely adore food. I love to eat almost everything and anything. Last time when I was young (and fat), I was often asked this question.
"what food do you NOT like to eat?" and my answer will always be "hmm, chilli!"
but now since I'm all grown up, I have to show my macho macho man face and start eating chilli so the conclusion is there is NOTHING I don't like to eat!

To cut the long winded story short, it's fair to say that I actually live to eat.

So food review! I suck at this really. Considering how much I actually love eating, I simply cannot describe food really well. All I know is food! yum yum chomp chomp mmm niceee, and the food's all gone. What do I know about the sensational taste! I know shit about how the texture is smooth or how it tickles your taste bud.

But let's get back to the long-awaited review okay.

Oklah I didn't eat at like some fancy place or something but that doesn't mean I can't talk about it isn't it!
(oh by the way, I had this freaking weird dream of someone peeping at me while I bathe at this really fancy house where I actually bathe using the water from this multi-layer bird bath thingy. and then that someone tried to kill me and suddenly ALL the people I know appeared to save me wtf wtf)

I have been wanting to try out this restaurant called Eden for quite some time. I heard the food's good and reasonably priced and since it's a rather old reputable restaurant, I figured nothing should go wrong right?

Hmm, let's just say I'll never go there again, ever. The variety was scarce, the ambience wasn't great, and the service was just alright.
They only have 3 types of pasta! And like 4 types of main meals with chicken. Bah.

This is some burger which I ordered out of frustation cause there isn't anything else to eat!
It's erm, okay, nothing really special. And the worst insult any burger can get is this: "Ramlee burger tastes better" as quoted from my brother.
So 'nuff said. (RM15.50)

This is erm, some chicken thingy which is so freaking small! I can get this anywherelah, chinese coffee shop also got ok. It's nice but full stop. just nice. (RM15.50)

And my parents didn't eat cause they just had their dinner somewhere else so when they told the waitress they weren't eating, she kept insisting that they order something. They said no we are rather full but she said no, try the soup blahblah recite entire menu which isn't very long to begin with.

Bah people say no means no lah and when my parents insisted that they were too full, the waitress pulled a sour face and walked away! wtf.

So there, an unsatisfying meal.

This is the nicest thing I can find in the restaurant.
And they charged us for water! A good restaurant doesn't charge for water, it's always complimentary. Dad said a good restaurant throws in free wine too haha.

The next day, we decided to eat at this restaurant called CSI, Celestial Steakhouse International, which was featured in the paper last week. We got lost for an hour and finally abandoned any hope of finding it and came all the way back to Subang to eat.
We always pass by San Francisco Steakhouse but never really want to try it so decided to try it this time.

I like the ambience. Cosy, casual, and elegant at the same time.

I was starving and could eat a cow by then so we quickly ordered. Then, we were given complimentary warm buns and water! Now, THIS is a good restaurant. *yum yum warm buns rowr
They didn't even complain when I asked for another warm soft delicious bun with butter please! twice. =D

Turkey and pasta salad or something. Erm tastes like salad.

This is really nice! Beef fillet with some sauce. See! I can never do a food review cause I can't recall food names. Heck I can't even remember movie/book/song titles.
My dad ordered medium rare and it tastes soooo good in your mouth. It isn't very rare and filled with juicy blood that type so I really like it. The sauce is really good too.

This is my spring chicken! which I shared with mom since I was rather bloated from all that warm soft delicious buns.
For me, it's slightly better than alright. I don't fancy BBQ sauce that much. The chicken is tender and soft and the fries! God I love homemade fries unlike *cough* some place that gave me those zig-zag fries I can buy from Giant and fry myself! This is RM23 I think.

This is bro's beef steak or something. OOH I never thought I'd like beef steaks! It tastes soooo good really. Just the right tenderness and taste.
(RM30+) I think for steaks, the price is rather reasonable.

OOH bread and butter pudding! I love B&B puddings! Especially soft warm ones like this one here. So good, so warm, so niceee!
What kinda food review is this lah! I kept saying ooh so nicee! =.=

Oh. dad's fillet + the turkey salad + the pudding + a soup= RM38.90
not bad right?

We used to frequent TGIF a lot whenever dad comes home but now we have a new place to go!

So the conclusion is SanFrancisco Steakhouse wins hands down. like totally. Heck, even their water tastes better than Eden's (cause free mah, anything free is good)

Shh, I have been keeping this for a week now but now that he's on the plane so he can't read this! I hope that hotel in Singapore doesn't have wifi or something. Bee if you're reading then stop right now cause I wanna surprise you at the airport! (please lah hun pleaseeee stop reading)

I dyed my hair =D

Is it too brown?! I hope it's just the light.
see? it's not so brown in the day.

This is if I curl a few strands. I'm super lazy lah when I wanna curl my hair I just curl the front part.

So is this considered a new hairdo? it is right it is! I know it's not something drastic like cutting my hair short but this is my first step in deflowering my hair ok! No more village girl ok! (some hairdresser called me village girl cause my hair was a virgin, unpermed, unstraightened, undyed blabla)

Eh why everyone kept telling me that I shouldn't do anything to my nice long black hair! If you've had this hair for 18 years of your life, you get extremely bored ok.

Conversation overheard:

Mom: Eh Barry gave you flowers ah! Serene wake up see got flowers! see!
me: (groggily) yeah i knowww..
Mom: (to dad) remember when you gave me flowers? of course you do cause it was only ONCE. in 20 years, only ONCE.
Dad: grunt
Mom: see people only 2 years also give flowers! from US somemore!
Dad: curse curse
Mom: woi are you listening or not!
Sis and me: snicker snicker

wah i spent two hours writing this post. Okay the end back to studying.

P.S: BABE i can't wait to hold you again! to kiss you, to entwine our fingers together, to cuddle against your warm body, to ruffle your hair, to tickle you like crazy, to make fun of your hair haha, to feel you inside wtf ok i better stop now.

P.P.S: oh yeah I really want to know this. what do you think of red french manicure?

I don't have white nail polish, so..how is it? My mom said it's super ugly. =(
